The Fence met in Tampere, Finland in August 2005 as part of the 2005 Tampere International Theatre Festival. We were hosted by our colleagues from the Finnish Theatre Information Centre, led by the organisation's director Riitta Seppälä.
The Finnish Theatre Information Service is one of our partners in the Janus project, and the first translated plays from the Janus project were given rehearsed readings at the Festival.
